How to use Image Resizer

  1. Select a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
  2. Enter the width or height in pixels. Keep Preserve aspect ratio on to calculate the other dimension, or turn it off to set both independently.
  3. Choose the output format and click Resize image.
  4. Review the output preview and dimensions, then download your resized image.

Limits and formats

  • Up to 50 MB per image, 8,192 pixels per side and 24 megapixels in total; processing also depends on device memory.
  • Width and height must be positive whole numbers. Resizing does not crop the image.
  • Unlocking aspect ratio can stretch the image. Enlarging an image cannot recover missing detail.
  • JPG, PNG and WebP export depend on browser support. PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPG uses white for transparent areas.
  • Static images only. Animation and original metadata are not preserved.
  • Images are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded.

Questions

Can I set an exact width and height?

Yes. Turn off Preserve aspect ratio, enter both dimensions and resize. This stretches the image if the new shape differs from the original.

How do I keep the original image proportions?

Leave Preserve aspect ratio on. Changing width recalculates height and changing height recalculates width, rounded to whole pixels.

Can I resize transparent PNG images?

Yes. Choose PNG, or WebP where your browser supports it, to preserve transparency.

Is resizing free with no sign-up?

Yes. The image is processed on your device without an account or upload.
